Slowly rotating black holes in the novel Einstein–Maxwell-scalar theory

چکیده

We investigate a slowly rotating black hole solution in novel Einstein-Maxwell-scalar theory, which is prompted by the classification of general theories. The gyromagnetic ratio this calculated, and it increases as second free parameter $\beta$ increases, but decreases with increasing $\gamma\equiv \frac{2 \alpha^{2}}{1+\alpha^2}$. In Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton (EMD) vanishes, $\alpha$ governing strength coupling between dilaton Maxwell field remains. always less than $2$, well-known value for Kerr-Newman (KN) well Dirac electron. Scalar hairs reduce magnetic dipole moment resulting drop ratio. However, we find that two can be realized theory charge-to-mass $Q/M$ simultaneously (recall KN holes independent $Q/M$). same situation also applies to angular velocity locally non-rotating observer. Moreover, analyze period correction circular orbits terms ratio, radius innermost stable orbits. It found $Q/M$. Finally, total radiative efficiency investigated, vanish once effect rotation considered.

Slowly Rotating Non-Abelian Black Holes

It is shown that the well-known non-Abelian static SU(2) black hole solutions have rotating generalizations, provided that the hypothesis of linearization stability is accepted. Surprisingly, this rotating branch has an asymptotically Abelian gauge field with an electric charge that cannot vanish, although the non-rotating limit is uncharged. We argue that this may be related to our second find...

The interior structure of slowly rotating black holes

The internal structure of a slowly rotating, charged black hole that is undergoing mass inflation at its inner horizon is derived. The equations governing the angular behavior decouple from the radial behavior, so all conclusions regarding inflation in a spherical charged black hole carry through unchanged for a slowly-rotating black hole. Quantities inflate only in the radial direction, not in...

The scalar perturbation of the higher-dimensional rotating black holes

The massless scalar field in the higher-dimensional Kerr black hole (MyersPerry solution with a single rotation axis) has been investigated. It has been shown that the field equation is separable in arbitrary dimensions. The quasinormal modes of the scalar field have been searched in five dimensions using the continued fraction method. The numerical result shows the evidence for the stability o...

Late-time decay of scalar perturbations outside rotating black holes

We present an analytic method for calculating the late-time tails of a linear scalar field outside a Kerr black hole. We give the asymptotic behavior at timelike infinity (for fixed r), at future null infinity, and along the event horizon (EH). In all three asymptotic regions we find a power-law decay. We show that the power indices describing the decay of the various modes at fixed r differ fr...

Rotating topological black holes

A class of metrics solving Einstein’s equations with negative cosmological constant and representing rotating, topological black holes is presented. All such solutions are in the Petrov type-D class, and can be obtained from the most general metric known in this class by acting with suitably chosen discrete groups of isometries. First, by analytical continuation of the Kerrde Sitter metric, a s...
